SEOUL — ITZY, the South Korean girl group known for their electrifying performances, is set to make their first comeback of 2025 with a new mini-album titled Girls Will Be Girls, slated for release on June 9 at 6 p.m. KST, according to their agency, JYP Entertainment.

On May 26, JYP Entertainment unveiled the album’s tracklist via the group’s official social media channels. The mini-album features five tracks: the title song “Girls Will Be Girls,” followed by “Kiss & Tell,” “Locked N Loaded,” “Promise,” and “Walk.” The group, often hailed as “K-pop performance queens” for their dynamic stage presence, is expected to captivate fans with their signature high-energy choreography and polished production.

ITZY’s comeback announcement was accompanied by a cinematic trailer directed by renowned commercial filmmaker Yoo Kwang-hoeng. The trailer, which has garnered significant buzz, features a surprise cameo by JYP’s founder and producer J.Y. Park. It depicts the members’ journey to “restart” member Ryujin’s heart, blending striking visuals with a narrative that has sparked curiosity about the album’s underlying message.

The group is rolling out a series of promotional content in the lead-up to the release. Concept photos will drop from May 27 to 30, followed by an album spoiler on June 2. Music video teasers and additional photos are scheduled for June 4 and 6, building anticipation for the album’s debut.

Girls Will Be Girls is now available for pre-order on major online music platforms. With their track record of delivering bold performances and innovative concepts, ITZY is poised to solidify their standing in the global K-pop scene.
