BTS' J-Hope to Drop 'Killin’ It Girl' with GloRilla, Capping Solo Single Project

BTS’ J-Hope is gearing up to release his new digital single, “Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla),” on June 13 at 1 p.m. KST, marking the finale of his solo single project, according to his agency, BigHit Music.

Described as a hip-hop track, “Killin’ It Girl” captures the exhilarating rush of falling in love with raw honesty. The song promises to showcase J-Hope’s expanded musical range, blending his signature style with the fierce energy of American rapper GloRilla. Known for her bold flow and commanding presence, GloRilla has made waves in the global hip-hop scene, with her 2024 album Glorious peaking at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and earning her the Best New Hip-Hop Artist title at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

A teaser of the track, featured in the “Charm of HOPE” concept film released on HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel on May 28, has already sparked buzz among fans. The clip, highlighting a heavy beat and infectious rhythm, offers a taste of the song’s addictive energy, even in its instrumental form.

J-Hope will debut the “Killin’ It Girl” performance at his j-hope Tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ FINAL concerts, set for June 13-14 at Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang, South Korea. Leading up to the release, he’ll roll out concept photos and music video teasers to build anticipation, with more activities planned post-launch to keep the momentum going.

This single follows J-Hope’s earlier 2025 solo releases, “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel),” a heartfelt serenade, and “MONA LISA,” a playful take on infatuation. “Killin’ It Girl” completes the emotional arc of his solo project. In a recent appearance on Apple Music’s The Zane Lowe Show, J-Hope shared, “I carefully crafted the emotional flow of this project. This final single is personally my favorite—it’s special to me.”
