Actress Kim Soo-yeon Joins Korean Dub of Disney’s Fantasy Musical ‘Snow White,’ Handpicked as Disney’s Chosen Voice

Kim Soo-yeon has been tapped to lend her voice to the Korean dub of Disney’s 2025 fantasy musical film Snow White, marking her as a standout talent selected by Disney.



Snow White, Disney’s first princess tale reimagined as a magical cinematic experience, follows the titular character as she courageously reclaims her kingdom from an evil queen with a pure heart and unwavering resolve. Beyond its fairytale roots, the film promises enchanting storytelling, breathtaking fantasy visuals, and a mesmerizing soundtrack, heightening anticipation for its release.

In the film, Kim Soo-yeon voices Snow White, a protagonist who forges her own path with kindness and wisdom, bringing a fresh layer of charm to the iconic character.

Known for her commanding stage presence as a musical theater actress, Kim Soo-yeon combines powerful vocals and acting prowess to deliver a warm, courageous tone to the Korean version of Snow White.

Her Disney credentials are already impressive: Kim previously voiced Moana in the Korean dubs of Disney’s Moana and Moana 2. While her role in Moana was limited to dialogue, she expanded her contribution in Moana 2 by flawlessly performing the character’s songs, earning widespread praise.

Now a beloved “trustworthy actress,” she recently captivated audiences as Roxanne, the female lead in Cyrano—a role she took on in February 2025, seven years after her ensemble debut, marking a triumphant full-circle moment.

With Kim Soo-yeon stepping into the spotlight as “Disney’s chosen voice” for Snow White, anticipation is building for her performance in this fantasy musical. The film is set to hit theaters on March 19.
