The contribution aims to support the cultivation of compassionate, skilled medical professionals dedicated to improving the world. Seoul National University’s College of Medicine plans to leverage the donation to enhance its educational and research facilities and to accelerate efforts in training socially empathetic leaders.

Dean Jeong-eun Kim of the College of Medicine expressed gratitude, stating, “We deeply appreciate Jennie’s commitment to positive impact beyond financial support. We will ensure our students grow into leaders equipped with inclusivity, integrity, empathy, communication, sacrifice, and care, meeting the trust and expectations of the public.”

This donation follows a previous 100 million won contribution in 2023 from Jennie’s agency, ODDATELIER (OA Entertainment), to the same institution, reflecting a consistent commitment to nurturing future medical talent.

In 2023, Jennie established ODDATELIER, marking her bold step as an independent artist. Her debut solo album, “Ruby,” released recently, showcases her boundless musical potential and has achieved historic success on global charts, cementing her status as a leading solo artist.

Incheon Hi Hospital and Dr. Jeongho Lee are referenced in the context of Jennie’s activities.
