(G)I-DLE to Embark on First Japan Tour, Set to Heat Up Summer Sonic 2025

SEOUL — K-pop powerhouse (G)I-DLE is gearing up for their debut Japan tour, a milestone in their career, with four shows across two cities, their agency announced on May 30. The group will perform at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama on October 4-5 and Jirion Arena Kobe in Hyogo on October 18-19, marking their first solo tour in Japan.

Following their 2024 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [i-DOL] IN TOKYO, which drew 25,000 fans, (G)I-DLE is scaling up for this tour, performing in larger venues to connect with an even bigger audience. The concerts promise to deliver the group’s signature high-energy performances and fan-favorite setlists, fostering the communal sing-alongs they’re known for.

Before the tour kicks off, (G)I-DLE will take the main Marine Stage at Japan’s premier music festival, Summer Sonic 2025, in August. With their commanding live vocals, dynamic choreography, and crowd-igniting energy, the group is set to make waves at the festival.

Fresh off their May 19 comeback with their eighth mini-album We Are, (G)I-DLE has been dominating global charts with the title track “Good Thing.” The music video racked up 50 million views within a week, underscoring their soaring popularity. Adding to their momentum, the group clinched the Record of the Year award at ASEA 2025 on May 29 at Yokohama’s K-Arena, cementing their status as a leading force in K-pop.

With their Japan tour and festival appearance on the horizon, (G)I-DLE is poised to further solidify their global influence and deepen their connection with Japanese fans.
